The Computing Historian

In dealing with computer hardware and software, historians should steer between the Scylla of ingorance
and the Charybdis of zealotry.
Not knowing about the availability of certain devices or programming options often exacts a high cost in wasted labor and
unexplored analytical avenues.

-Konrad H. Jarusch & Kenneth A. Hardy, in Quantitative Methods for Historians

Welcome to The Computing Historian website. Here is where we hope to make our humble contribution
towards attempting to chart that course safely. To say this site is even in its infancy would be a gross exaggeration, but check back
once in a while as it gets fleshed out. Thank you for visiting!

Thank you for stopping by and enjoy!
